This listing is for one (1) elegant handmade cylinder-shaped cortado cup in turquoise/white color. The turquoise glaze has a lot of character and varies from light color with dark blotching to deep turquoise blue. The firing process itself provides the clay with different surface effects, resulting in lighter or darker colors in the clay.
Each cup is individually wheel-thrown, glazed, and fired in our studio. After the cup is fired, the clay is polished to create a nice smooth surface for a velvety soft feel in your hands. We strive to make all of our cups as identical as possible, but due to a clay shrinkage and the nature of handmade process, the cups may vary in size, color, and thickness of the rim/handle.
